About Verboteca
Verboteca helps you actually remember a foreign language instead of re-learning it every week. It combines two things most apps keep in separate apps, verb conjugation and vocabulary, and drills both with spaced repetition so each card comes back right before you would forget it.
Two skills, one method
Reading a language is easy. Producing it is hard, and that comes down to two muscles: choosing the right word and putting the verb in the right form. Verboteca trains both as flashcards, graded by how well you know each item rather than by a fixed schedule.
Languages
You can currently learn Spanish (Castilian) and German, each with full conjugation tables and a vocabulary course from A1 to C2. More target languages are planned. The engine is language-agnostic, so adding one means adding its data rather than rebuilding the app.
Spaced repetition (SRS)
Every answer updates a mastery level for that exact card, whether it is a single verb form (Spanish hablo, for example) or a single word. Cards you know drift far into the future. Cards you miss come back soon. Over a few weeks this moves a language into long-term memory in far less total study time.
Free and Premium
The A1 level, present-tense conjugation plus the first vocabulary set, is free forever. Premium unlocks all 15 tenses and moods, vocabulary up to C2, and removes ads. Your progress syncs across devices once you sign in.
Where it runs
Verboteca runs in any modern browser, installs as a PWA, and ships as native iOS and Android apps. All of them share the same progress, so you can practise on your phone and pick up where you left off on your laptop.
